Since 2015 Egeria (re)develops real estate projects in the Randstad region (NL), creating good residential facilities, livable neighborhoods and the reactivation of derelict buildings and areas. Egeria shifts its development strategy towards ‘develop and hold’ by creating a substantial residential fund of affordable housing consisting of appropriate homes.

The investment activities focus on commercial and residential real estate in category A1 locations in the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, and the United States.

Because of the growing importance of the real estate business, Egeria wishes to recruit a CFO who supports and contributes to the ambitions of its real estate investment and development management teams.


The CFO Real Estate is primarily responsible for the financial management of the investment and development activities. He/she manages a compact finance team and fulfils an important role in assisting and challenging real estate partners. He/she is key in facilitating the ambitious growth plans of the development practice by further improving the risk management process, optimizing management information, and raising development knowledge in the finance team.

He/she has at least 10 years’ relevant work experience in financial accounting/control in real estate development in the Netherlands, including tax structuring for real estate projects, with a focus on residential preferably. Besides, he/she is familiar with the dynamics of real estate investment management in general.

The CFO is an senior finance professional and acts as an ‘owner’ and takes full responsibility over the financial side of the real estate area. He/she fits perfectly in a young organisation and a culture characterized by an entrepreneurial spirit, drive and energy. Is proactive and shows excellent communication skills. Adapting easily in a relatively small, informal, and decisive organisation.

This position requires a Business Economics education, possibly supplemented with RA /RC.
